WHAT IS THE GIVE WITH HEART ASSOCIATE GIVING CAMPAIGN?

The 2024 Give with Heart Ascension Illinois Associate Giving Campaign provides associates with the opportunity to donate to programs that are dependent on philanthropy — associate relief, academic scholarships and community mental health.

WHEN AND HOW CAN I PARTICIPATE?

The campaign kicks off on Monday, September 20, 2024, and runs through Friday, November 1, 2024. Associates can easily donate by making a gift online or enrolling in payroll deduction.

Make a gift or payroll pledge of $50 or more by November 1 in order to be entered into a drawing for a chance to win one of 10 great giveaways, like an Amazon Echo or iPad. *Please note that leaders are exempt from this drawing.

 

CAN I MAKE A CAMPAIGN GIFT BY CHECK?

Yes! Please mail checks payable to Ascension Illinois Foundation to:

With you gift, please note which campaign priority you would like to support.

WHERE DOES MY GIFT GO?

100% of your gift goes directly to support the program or service you choose. Operating costs for the Ascension Illinois Foundation are underwritten by our health system.

CAN VENDORS, VOLUNTEERS AND OTHER NON-ASSOCIATES SUPPORT THE ASSOCIATE GIVING CAMPAIGN?

Yes! Anyone can make a Give with Heart campaign donation through credit card or cash/check donation. Please note: At this time, payroll deduction is only available for Ascension Illinois associates.

HOW CAN I SUPPORT A FUND NOT LISTED ON THE GIVE WITH HEART CAMPAIGN WEBPAGE?

If you are interested in supporting an area not listed, you can make a gift to another priority or contact Marilou Niggemann at Marilou.Niggemann@ascension.org. Unfortunately, gifts to funds not listed on the Give with Heart webpage cannot be set up through payroll deduction.

IF I GIVE ANONYMOUSLY, WILL I STILL RECEIVE RECOGNITION?

Giving anonymously means that your name will not be printed or displayed in any Foundation-related recognition opportunities. One consideration before deciding to remain anonymous is that many other people may be inspired to give when they see that you are participating.

I SIGNED UP LAST YEAR. DO I NEED TO SIGN UP AGAIN THIS YEAR? 
Yes! Your pledge is only for the calendar year and does not continue into 2025. Please renew your gift and consider an upgrade to extend your impact even further.

WILL OTHERS KNOW THE AMOUNT OF MY GIFT?

No, the exact amount of your gift will not be publicized. Depending on your giving level, you may be recognized as  a member of a giving circle or society, but you always have the option to remain anonymous.

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF THERE IS AN ERROR, MY DONATION IS NOT APPEARING ON MY PAYSTUB, OR I WOULD LIKE TO MAKE CHANGES TO MY PAYROLL DEDUCTIONS?

The Foundation office can help immediately by emailing Marilou Niggemann at Marilou.Niggemann@ascension.org. Payroll deductions can be stopped or changed at any time throughout the year.

HOW DO I OBTAIN A TAX RECEIPT?

If you make a gift via cash, credit card or check, you will receive a tax receipt in real time. If you give via payroll deduction, please contact Marilou.Niggemann@ascension.org to receive a year-end statement for the year in which the deductions were taken.
